Why S.T.E.P.S ?
Why S.T.E.P.S ?
We sat down personally with women who have left an abusive relationship and how counseling/therapy helped them to recover from the emotional scars left by the abuse.
We heard personal stories like:
*A grandmother who is trying to break the cycle of abuse. So, that her granddaughter won't be another generation impacted by Domestic Violence.
*A young mother of 2 who is now seeking self-care workshops who wants to learn how to love herself again after leaving a 5-year abusive relationship from the father of her kids.
*An older gentleman hiding his wounds because of feeling emasculated that his live-in girlfriend is dealing with alcoholism and becomes irate when she drinks.
